Thunder Bolt move into playoff spot

The Thunder Bolt moved into fourth spot in Div 3 after a strong comeback win over Aztec Falcons, thanks to a clamp down on defence and some hot shooting in the fourth quarter. The Aztecs got off to a great start, slicing Woking's defence apart in the first quarter to take a 7 point lead which could have been a lot wider if not for Jack's hot shooting keeping Woking in it. After shaking off the slow start, Woking continued chipping away at the lead and dominated the fourth quarter 17 - 6, finishing with a 57 - 42 win.

Next up for the Bolt are Lightwater Vipers at home.

Coach’s Words

It’s been a pleasure to coach a great team this season and  I’m already looking forward to next season.  It’s been brilliant to see how as a team we get along and how as players you have improved.   We still have a little way to go in the off season if we are to push for winning the league in 2016 but I believe we have the people, the spirit and the drive to achieve this!
